TURICENTRO AMAPULAPA Address Desvío hacia Amapulapa, San Vicente, El Salvador Description There are two pools for adults, water slide, 3 pools for kids, park ranger, lifeguard, 36 cabins, toilets, BKB court, soccer field, parking lot for more than 100 vehicles, and police station. The name “Amapulapa” in Nahuatl means: "River of the sunken Amates". The natural richness of this park comes from its volcanic origin soil. There are many water springs and most of the trees in the area are Amates. The park opened its doors to the public in 1956.
