The newly finished and paved Carretera Barra de Navidad which
connects El Paredon to Old Town and Nuevo Vallarta is just outside
the gates and makes getting anywhere just a few minutes drive
along the coast.
Puerto Vallarta has become one of the preferred vacation destinations
for travelers from all over the world. Approximately 862,000
visitors from North America arrived in Puerto Vallarta’s International
Airport in 2012. More airlines are offering non-stop flights from key
cities in North America such as Seattle, Vancouver, Edmonton, Houston,
Chicago, LA, San Francisco, Atlanta, Denver, Philadelphia,
St. Louis, Rockford, Lansing and New York.
With a nearly perfect year round climate, the safe and serene environment
attracts travelers and retirees from worldwide destinations.
It is ideal for multi generational families because there is something
for everyone. The charm of its colonial roots mixed with the modern
amenities creates a living experience that is both welcoming and
familiar for many people.
Puerto Vallarta’s real estate market continues to expand as the city’s
infrastructure continues its rapid development and help the real estate
values to reach new heights.
Analysts are all abuzz about Mexico’s stable growth rates,
demographics, open trading relationships and institutional reform
agenda making it relevant and promising myriad opportunities
across all industries.
In essence, it is looking more and more like Mexico is becoming
the “Land of Opportunity” for many.
In a recent article in The Economist, it was noted that as a major
developing economy Mexico continues to boast solid foundations
for future growth and social progress as evidenced by their quick
recovery from the global crisis in 2007-2008. The article also noted
that experts from the financial industry, including Goldman Sachs
and Nomura, predict that, by 2020, Mexico’s economy will be
among the ten largest in the world.
The New York Times’ reporter Thomas Friedman went as far as to
say that Mexico’s economy has the ability to surpass China’s in the
not too distant future. This has given way to placing the concerns
about security and drug cartels on a very secondary stage
