Transform This
The Transformers is slated to add
four more sequels. Hasbro’s Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer, Stephen J. Davis, announced more movies are planned
for the Transformers franchise.
At CineEurope earlier this year, Paramount Pictures International Senior VP Edward Ryan confirmed the
release date of the fifth film, scheduled to debut June 24, 2016.
“You’re going to see a new Transformers movie coming from Hasbro
and Paramount and Michael Bay and
our other partners. In fact, we just
finished — as some of you may have
read — an incredible experience,”
Davis said.
The news was announced at the
MIP Junior Conference during a Q&A
session earlier this month.
Despite the criticism the franchise
has received, the films keep making
money. The last film, Transformers:
Age of Extinction grossed $1.1 billion worldwide. The franchise has
made Paramount nearly $4 billion
across four films, according to Cinemablend.com.

Residents and commuters have grown
increasingly concerned with the dangers
of street racing, prompting Santa Ana
Police to go undercover in an attempt to
deter the sometimes fatal races.
