Little Jr. [email protected] PUPPY PARADE PRIDE WEEK DON MARIACHI Get your friendly animal ready for a furtastic event happening on May 19th from 11 a.m to 2 p.m at Downtown Santa Ana. It is a free dress up festival with vendors, music and lots of activities. Make sure to have your dogs on a leash. Parade starts at noon. Puppy registration is on eventbrite.com. / Marta Konarska Santa Ana College’s PRIDE! Club will be host- ing Pride week on May 21-23. On Tuesday, they will be playing games like loteria to educate students on LGBTQ terms. On Wednesday, guest speakers will go in depth about the culture. Finally, Thursday is a pride fest where stu- dents can make brace- lets and tie dye shirts to celebrate themselves. / Lizeth Fuentes Experience traditional Mexican dancing music and songs with a mix of music from many regions of Mexico when Santa Ana College’s own Don Mariachi band performs on May 24. The event is $10 for general admission, $7 for students and $5 for children. Tickets can be purchased online at sac.edu/fpa or at the door. / Benny Rodriguez The Orange County Soccer Club is hosting its second beer festival on Saturday, May 18 at the Great Park in Irvine, Calif. This festival is open to everyone 21 years of age and older. The festival will have 30 participants from the craft breweries of Orange County, 10 more than last year. Along with the tasting activities, they will also be providing other types of entertainment. The $35 ticket package is general admission. While the $45 ticket package allows you into the beer fest an hour earlier than anyone else along with Custom OCSC Brew Caddy, 15% OFF an OCSC merchandise item as well.
