NO FREE PARKING
FACULTY ART SHOW
GRUB DOWN
It’s time to buy your parking pass for the semester
because permits are now
required in all student
lots starting today. The
window-decal passes are
no longer available at the
Cashier’s Office and must
be purchased through
WebAdvisor. Student parking passes cost $30 and are
valid in all student parking
lots (6 through 13) until the
end of the semester. Visitor
parking in front of the
Administration Building is
limited to 30 minutes and is
monitored by security staff.
The Division of Fine and
Performing Arts is hosting
an open house for students
interested in learning more
about SAC’s art, photography, dance, music programs
and more, from 7:30 to
9 p.m. Wednesday in the
lobby of the C Building.
The event, dubbed Artsa-Palooza, also marks the
opening of Resident Artists
2016, the campus’ first art
exhibit of the year. The show
will display works from 19
full- and part-time art faculty
members, including jewelry
instructor Jennifer Monroe
and Art Department Chair
Phil Marquez. The show
runs through Nov. 10 in the
Main Gallery.

With the closure of the cafeteria at the Johnson Center, two
Buqqa Gourmet food trucks
are now serving up hot food to
hungry SAC students, faculty
and staff. One parks in Lot 6,
behind the Nealley Library;
the other parks in the Village
Quad. Both are open Monday
through Friday from 11 a.m.
to 3 p.m. and serve burgers,
Mediterranean food, salads,
side dishes and desserts. They
accept cash, credit cards and
CARE vouchers.
