The service gives the artists the power to do what they please with their music by having people pay for their art, rather than streaming it for free. Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo and Beyoncé’s latest single Formation were released exclusively on Tidal. Kanye’s dedication to only releasing and updating his new music on Tidal has catapulted the music service to number one. The app can be purchased with a $19.99 HiFi subscription or $9.99 for a premium subscription with ads. Is it worth the money? The rise of free music streaming services such as Pandora and Spotify made purchasing an album a thing of the past. At only $10 a month you get access to exclusive music that isn’t available anywhere else. Kanye’s move might just change the music business as we know it. The Brothers Grimsby The movie had one of the worst opening weekends in recent history, earning only $3.2 million. When it comes to Sacha Baron Cohen’s work, it’s either hit or miss. His raunchy and obscene humor still crosses the line. The crassness wasn’t endearing and audiences tuned out. It had its moments, but audience members could have been laughing with or at the movie. It was predictable and the plot seemed like something we’ve all seen before.
