From there, they used a makeshift rope to rappel to the ground. Investigators said they believed the three escapees were living out of the stolen vehicle for some time. Bac Duong, 43, turned himself in at a Santa Ana auto shop owned by one of his friends. “We cooperated with the police, they asked for surveillance footage and I gave it to them right away,” owner Tim Tran said. –
