First Love

Apostle Grace Wenepai Enosa

I was saved at midnight in my room when I was complaining to God about my hopeless condition.

It so happened one evening when my little girl of 3 years came to me and was crying of hunger and I had nothing to give to her. I held her in my arms and comforted her to sleep. After she fell asleep, I felt angry and began to complain to God. I told God it was better for me to die so that someone else can take care of my daughter. While I was complaining one-word pop up in my mind. Jesus answered,

But he answered and said, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the

mouth of God.”

Matthew 4:4, KJV

When I began to pray this word out loud, I started to speak like a baby and felt a heavy power all over my body. I did not understand what was happening to me but afterward, I learned that it was speaking in tongues.

In the early morning someone knocked at the door. When I opened the door, there was my friend's husband. He told me that the Lord told him in the night to give me some money from his salary and he came to give the money before going to work.

God has been faithful to me all the time and He is my ever present help in time of need.
