This digital magazine will give a brief overview of the history of capitalism. It will then discuss the role of capitalism in the digital age, with case studies taken from the city of Paris.

To be post-digital has multiple definitions, yet in regards to this publication it is the idea of the future of print. There is the idea of “old” vs “new” media, for example the book vs the ebook (Cramer 2015). This publication aims to be an example of the post-digital through the aesthetic of the “old” such as the layout of a stereotypical magazine, with a combination of the “new” through the feature of image slideshows and hyperlinks. This publication aims to show the combination of both “old” and “new” media as a working entity instead of two notions that work against each other.
