Prerequisite ( s ): Algebra 1 ( may be taken concurrently ) Students will learn important aspects of building and site design related to residential and commercial architectural projects . This project-based learning utilizes 3D architectural software along with math and science concepts to design such projects as a backyard shed , Habitat for Humanity home , and a public library . Skills developed in this course include teamwork skills , technical documentation , communication , and 3D software design . This course is recommended for any student interested in architecture , civil engineering or the construction industry .
