This compilation of grades is based on the quality point system used to designate honor roll and honor graduates. The quality point average is compiled, and each student is then listed in mathematical order. It should be emphasized that rank in class is a cumulative compilation of grade averages including physical education and health but not pass-fail courses. HONOR ROLL Honor students are recognized at the end of each term. High honor or general honor status may be achieved by meeting the criteria established for these designations. The honor roll will be determined numerically using the numerical value code as shown above. High honors will be accorded students achieving a 3.6 average or better with no grade below “B-”. General honors will be accorded students with a 3.0 average provided they have no more than one “C” and no grade of C- or below. Honor status will not be conferred if there are any incomplete grades recorded which have not been made up within two weeks following the end of the marking period. Students must also carry at least four subjects per marking period. 21
