was against Suffield with the score being 79 – 46 , with the girls getting first in every event .
So many new friendships were made on this team , with only 13 girls it ’ s hard not to be close with each other .
“ This team has some of the kindest , most supportive and funny people I ’ ve ever met . The girls on this team encourage each other with tact and empathy and have set a standard for friendship I will carry with me forever . Over the year there ’ s Been so much laughter , gossip , tears , and love . I couldn ’ t find myself in a better crowd ” said freshman swimmer Maggie Griffin .
The team will miss this year ’ s graduating seniors .
“ I think we have a very close-knit team . It makes practice really fun and meets even better we always are there to cheer each other on and congratulate each other ” senior Amy Loc said . Nothing makes a sport better than an amazing team .
“ Well , we won town meets , so I can ’ t say we did great by statistic standards . But I think the season was amazing . From where we started at the first practice , every single girl has improved exponentially . I honestly couldn ’ t be more proud of us . From Menna dropping over 10 seconds on her 50 to Amy getting 5 th place at championships , there ’ s been noticeable achievements for everyone . Of course , there ’ s always room for improvement , but I ’ m more than happy with how this season went ,” said Griffin .
“ I ’ m really excited to see how the team grows next year even though I won ’ t be swimming . We have quite a few very talented swimmers and I ’ m excited to see how much they improve within the next season ,” said Loc .
The 2022 campaign was an amazing season with an amazing team with even better people .
