Simsbury Farm Day
Twelve students attended Junior Achievement’s
Farm Day trip to Simsbury Community Farm on
May 16 th . Students learned about careers in
agriculture and the non-profit sector. Students
also helped plant 600 pepper plants!
Junior Achievement Career Walk
Junior Achievement hosted 18 students to tour
four major companies in downtown Hartford on
May 18 th .
The Bushnell
On April 6 th ten students attended Junior
Achievement’s job shadow at the
Bushnell to learn about the careers related
to running a theater.
End of the Year Events
Legal Careers Panel
Fifty-five students attended our Legal Careers
Panel to hear from 6 different members of the
legal career field on April 17th.
