“ When we feel good , we make good choices , we show up with more vibrancy in our work , show up for our families and have the energy to make time for our dreams and desires ,” says Nielson . “ When we neglect our bodies , we neglect our dreams and the longer we let them go , the harder we need to work to uncover the layers of neglect .”
The short line to this state of empowerment begins with physical movement . Followed by fitness and nutrition , Nielson used this winning formula to transform her own life , along with a willingness to be vulnerable .
" Running a business and being a new mom is challenging because my heart is always on my daughter . And while I miss the freedom that came before becoming a parent , I know that I am building a future for her , a life for our family , and this certainty gives me the strength to press forward ."
Nielson relies on the power of a plan and making a routine — something that extends to her baby daughter , who is also on a solid plan and routine .
“ Andara has taught me to be a better time blocker and be more efficient in shorter amounts of time — I wake early around 5 o ’ clock . I have a two-hour dedicated morning routine allowing for changes based on what goals are aligned , taking time to move my body , to hydrate and prepare my supplements ,” says Nielson , who taps into prayer and journaling . “ Trust wholly in God — even when the scarcity of opportunities or money or whatever we are lacking can pull us down , so I ’ ve learned to seek fulfillment in God .”
Nielson could have so easily gone in a different direction . Growing up underprivileged , years later , she still works through stumbling blocks that remain . Although getting back into an empowered state and shifting back to believing in herself happens faster , now . Her faith is important to Nielson .
Nielson ’ s personal coaching platform is evolving into a membership community set to launch in January of women supporting women .
“ I think of my mom who worked as a bartender and what her life could have become ,” says Nielson . “ My mission is to be the person I wish my mom could have had in her corner , with the tools and resources offered in my total body coaching .”
