Naturally, parents are very concerned about their children’s
health during a pandemic and keeping them healthy long term.
Immune health has never been more important. Many parents
are thinking about preparing their children for the return back to
school and how to keep them healthy throughout the year, not
just at the immediate moment. We believe that immune support
and overall nutrition is key for our kids' well-being.
We all want the best for our kids and parents are looking for
supplement brands they can trust. Garden of Life has earned our

Our philosophy has always been “food first” so we want to
encourage everyone to always begin with healthy eating.
Supplements should not replace healthy eating. Step one is to
encourage kids to eat plenty of fresh foods, and we need to set a
good example ourselves. Parents mostly control what their kids
eat because they do the grocery shopping and buy their kid’s
food. That being said, we know that kids can be picky eaters and
have their own strong likes and dislikes.
According to multiple studies, kids are not consuming enough
servings of fresh fruit, vegetables or greens each day. We need
to make an effort to add a wide variety of different colored
fresh fruits and green veggies to smoothies and serve plenty of
veggies at other meals to deliver a wide array of plant nutrients.
Fruits and vegetables provide essential vitamins, minerals and
antioxidants to support immune health and overall wellness.
These will also help to fill kids up and provide important dietary
fiber for regular healthy bowels.
While they are at home, ask your kids to help prepare foods
and perhaps make their own smoothies. Try experimenting
with new fruits and other healthy ingredients such as almond
butter. As you prepare fruits and veggies, talk to them about how
important vitamins and minerals are for their health. As we all
know, kids can be picky eaters, so be prepared and make food
look appealing and fun whenever possible. Variety is important to
make sure that they get all their essential nutrients.
But still, “keeping kids healthy” can be a challenge, so it’s a good
