My name is Graham Popadic , and I am Garden of Life ’ s first employee fully dedicated to sustainability . I ’ m an intern , finishing my senior year of college in New York City . As you can imagine , with COVID , New York has been fully locked down , which opened the door for me join Garden of Life and help us become certified carbon-neutral .
After continually seeing the need and leading the way for sustainability , Garden of Life is excited to announce that we will become carbon-neutral certified by 2022 . We have been leaders in sustainability since 2006 , and we will continue to be leaders in what has become one of the most highly sought after certifications of the 21st century , the carbon-neutral certification .
I joined Garden of Life because I believe in their mission to empower extraordinary health . After working here for a few months , I can now see why Garden of Life wants to reach the status of carbon-neutral certified . It is not only about adding another stamp onto the brand , but in reality , it ’ s about empowering the health of individuals and creating a safe and healthy world where they can live . In order to better empower extraordinary health , we must be leaders in the sustainability movement , for both the sake of individuals and planet earth as a whole .
