It is certain that ancient Egypt and the modern Egypt that exists today could not exist without the Nile River. One of the most popular ways for tourists to explore this mighty river is on a Nile cruise ("Egypt Tourism Authority.") Most of these cruises take place between Luxor and Aswan. Imagine leaning out on the railing of your cruise ship, feeling the cool Nile breeze as your tour guide tells you about the surrounding area. These can last for a week or only for a day ("Nile Cruise.") and is the best way to experience this awe inspiring river.
As you can see Egypt is a wonderful place to visit, especially for those who love history. Whether it's exploring the majestic ancient pyramids with their ancient architecture and craftsmanship or cruising down the Nile River, the longest river in the world, both should appeal to people who like history. Making Egypt one of the best travel destinations in the world for history lovers.
