For Refugees & Asylum-seekers from Sub-Saharan Africa, Iraq & Yemen to vulnerable refugees while fostering community- based collective livelihood solutions. For more viable entrepreneurs, tailored business development support and systemized marketing channels will be pursued. UNHCR will continue introducing sectoral and area- based interventions that bring about skills development, employment, and marketing support in a range of viable and accommodative sectors for refugees such as the hospitality, home services, food and beverage, and retail sectors. Efforts will be enhanced to promote the inclusion of African, Yemeni and Iraqi refugees and asylum-seekers in local support platforms, as well as to improve and expand the entrepreneurial networks and their access to markets. In addition to ensuring continued basic food security, WFP will also carry out livelihood, and knowledge and skills development activities that promote 50 livelihood opportunities and enhance self-reliance. Direct assistance to selected refugees and asylum- seekers will be provided through cash-based transfers at the condition of full attendance and completion of specialized training courses. All livelihood partners will pursue self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods for host and refugee communities with the aim of eliminating disparities, achieving better social cohesion and ensuring equal access to food and livelihood options. Agencies will thereby paying special attention to vulnerable populations such as female- headed households, youth, and people living with disabilities. Language learning will be availed for non- Arabic speakers and implemented in coordination with other sectors. Partners in the sector will also continue to advocate for the facilitation of formal employment.
