NEW WORLD HANDICAP SYSTEM
The World Handicap System will be unveiled on January
6, 2020. From 12:01am on January 1, 2020 until that time
the GHIN system will be shutdown to make the necessary
changes for the new system. There will be changes, and an
adjustment period we will all undergo. I have attached a
small segment of how your handicap is going to be effected
when the system starts back up on January 6th.
SUPER BOWL SCRAMBLE
Our biggest event of the season will be held on Sunday
February 2, 2020. This is a two person scramble and you
pick your partner. The entry fee is $20 per player plus
applicable course fees. We will also have a $10 per team
optional skins game. We will flight teams by total team
handicap by all Men’s teams, as well as Couples teams. The
sign up sheet will be put up on the Men’s bulletin board a
few weeks prior to the tournament.
WALKING AND PULL CART INSTRUCTIONS
Walking or use of a Pull Cart can be done anytime
Monday thru Friday and after 1pm on Saturday, Sunday
and Holidays.
Walking or use of a Pull Cart is NOT ALLOWED in club
tournaments at any day or time.
Pull Carts are not allowed to be pulled or pushed across
the putting greens, tee boxes or through the bunkers.
Around the tees and greens, they must be kept in the

2020 MEN’S EVENT CALENDAR
January 18, 2020
MGA - “Memorial” - The format will be a 4-man scramble
(assigned by the club to evenly divide the field), during
which each player’s tee shot must be used on 1 par 5, 2 par
4’s and 1 par 3.
PRO SHOP AND DRIVING RANGE HOURS
The pro shop will open at 6:30am Monday thru Sunday
and remain open until 6pm. The driving range is open on
the days that the golf course is open starting at 6:30am,
and remain open weather permitting, until ½ hour before
dark, except for Sundays when the range will close 1 hour
before dark to pick all the balls up so the driving range
grass can be cut early the next morning. The pro shop, per
the time of the year will determine these hours of closing.
Sincerely,
John Greiner
