[P R O D U C T NEWS ] 888 SIGNS US DEAL WITH WYNN INTERACTIVE Casino operator strikes deal to join All American Poker Network Wynn Resorts has signed a partnership with 888’s B2C arm the All American Poker Network (AAPN) to launch a Wynnbranded online gaming offering in the regulated US egaming market. The online arm of casino operator Wynn Resorts will launch its brands alongside 888.com in New Jersey and Nevada, with the AAPN supplying its poker, casino and back office platform. The deal will also see Wynn pooling liquidity on the AAPN and came a week after Caesars Interactive Entertainment launched the 888-powered World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Nevada. The deal was described by AAPN executive chairman David Licht as an important step for the 888 subsidiary as it looks to expand its presence in the US online gaming market. “AAPN is honoured to be selected by Wynn to be its online gaming partner,” he said. “The platform and ancillary services AAPN will offer through 888, coupled with Wynn’s marquee brand, which is synonymous with quality and trust, will further establish our offering in the forming US regulated online gaming market.” The Delaware-incorporated AAPN was formed in March this year after 888 signed a joint venture agreement with investment ?rm Avenue Capital Group. 888 CEO Brian Mattingley said Wynn is the perfect partner for the poker network. 888 is expected to launch additional realmoney online poker sites in the coming months including 888Poker under Las Vegas operator Treasure Island’s licence. Last month Wynn Interactive ?led for an egaming licence in New Jersey, two months after applying to become an online poker operator in Nevada. SIGN-UPS PROBABILITY INTEGRATES “FRICTIONLESS” MOBILE BILLING Payment service, launched with Boku, adds gaming charges to bill Mobile operator Probability has released a new mobile payment service giving players the ability to pay through their mobile phone account. Launched in partnership with mobile payments company Boku, Probability becomes the ?rst gambling company to launch the direct carrier billing service, which is linked to all major UK mobile network operators. Players can deposit funds into a gaming account within ?ve seconds using the secure process, rivalling the speed of credit card payments, with a limit of £30 per day. 12 Probability has integrated the payment platform directly into its games for iPhone and Android users, and it will be immediately available to all Probability customers including LadyLucks, Moobile and white label partners. Probability CEO Charles Cohen said players had come to expect frictionless payments through in-app purchasing systems on their smartphones. “With this technology from Boku, and their deep integration with the mobile network operators, Probability is now able to match that convenience at an attractive rate commercially,” he said. Caesars Interactive Entertainment has partnered with Amaya Gaming to launch an online casino to the New Jersey market via the Canadian supplier’s egaming platform. The deal will see Amaya’s own content and third party games offered on CaesarsCasino.com.
