[P R O D U C T REVIEW ] WHAT THE PLAYERS SAY Usability: Players liked the 20 lines and quick spin functions Love the bonus round shoot-em up with guns and grenades. I’d like to see more of that as well as other bonus rounds that are based on the ?lm From a player perspective, what are your initial thoughts? Player one: I really like it – I love the Scarface film and the theme and I would like to play it for real in a casino or on my desktop at home. Player two: Looks a bit hard to play for me and I’m not sure I’d commit that much money to it. I’d play the play-for-fun game first if possible in order to get a sense of the features and the overall game. Player three: It makes sense. What I mean by that is that all the right features are in the right place and that the game and especially the brand work well together. Player four: First impressions are good, I don’t know the Scarface film but it looks like I should watch it. Player five: It’s a similar layout as other Net Ent games like Robin Hood, 1 so it worked straight away as I was familiar with other products. Player one: Fairly easy to use and to get to grips with the layout, design and functionality. Player two: Actually pretty easy to use once you play with it. Player four: Good slot, love the bonus round shoot-em up with guns and grenades. I’d like to see more of that as well as other bonus rounds that are based on the film. 2 What works well? Player one: Nothing. I thought that overall it was a great slot. Player two: Help is under ‘Paytable’ which doesn’t make any sense. Player four: Big bonus round doesn’t come up often enough and other two bonuses not as good. 3 What could be improved? RANKING Good value: There are three bonus games within Scarface USABILITY – 21/25 DESIGN – 22/25 ENGAGEMENT – 23/25 PLAYABILITY – 20/25 OVERALL 86/100 www.egrmagazine.com 16
