If you fail to get these correct but correctly predict the right outcomes, you are entered into a consolation pool where you can win thousands of pounds. Get them right, and you are entered into a bonus pool whereby Colossus will take you to the football “match of the day” and you can play for an additional £5m for either the correct score or outcome live that day. The software behind Colossus automatically tracks your progress and you can cash in your live ticket in fractions, allowing you to lock in your winnings while retaining an interest in part of your ticket depending on how lucky you’re feeling. And if you thought the cash prize wasn’t real, think again. Marantelli and his partner have £20m sitting in a private “risk” account that is checked like clockwork on a weekly basis by a top ?ve accounting ?rm. BetOnSoft games are playable on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, with native download clients as well as in-browser web clients. The ?rm says it is the only major software supplier with a native download client for Apple’s Mac OS X. Driven by Govender’s science and tech background, BetOnSoft’s affiliation to Microsoft’s Technology Adoption Programme and the early adopter role it plays within the tech giant’s SQL Server 2012 database management system, the ?rm is at the cutting edge of platform and games design. Its strongest components lie in its realtime information processing, allowing all casino systems to analyse and act on information that is correct up-to-theinstant. Services such as player pro?ling, proactive in-casino marketing, fraud analytics and work?ow processing operate in real-time. Reporting is also real-time for operators and their affiliates. A number of its ?agship games including roulette and craps are 3D, while BetOnSoft has also implemented a multi-resolution display engine, allowing games to be displayed in their full glory on everything from the super-high “retina” resolutions of the new Macbook Pro screens to low resolution netbook or mobile device screens. CHANCES OF SUCCESS: The ?rm has the complete package and already supplies a number of big name operators. Expect these to get bigger in the years ahead. WHAT MAKES IT STAND OUT: Launched in February 2012 by 15 Marketing, the company behind Oh My Bingo and Bingo Happy, 15 Network is billed as a “?exible” UKonly bingo network aimed at taking on the industry’s two largest networks, 888’s Dragon?sh and Playtech’s Virtue Fusion. It began with two of its own brands, Lights Camera Bingo and Show Reel Bingo but has recently added four additional brands including Zingo Bingo, Bingo Clubhouse, Charity Bingo and Cheers Bingo. The network’s conversion rates from deposit have been described as “exceptional” with sites keen to work with a network that offers something different to the other choices currently available. 15 Network offers licensees customer and software support as well as UK-only chat moderators, while the brand owners themselves manage marketing and CRM. “We’re incredibly creative when it comes to promotions and jackpots,” says founder Ben Starr. “And with the constant monitoring we do and room pro?tability reports we produce, we get maximum value from players.” CHANCES OF SUCCESS: Its software is unique to the network and was developed by bingo experts and QSB Gaming. It was acquired by 15 Network in November last year.
