B2B AWARDS FEATURE P laytech’s bingo and poker networks were both honoured at the fourth annual eGaming Review B2B Awards as the ?rm led the way with four gongs. The Bingo Network honour was accompanied by the prize for Bingo Supplier of the Year, and came – in the view of the judges – because the launch of Gala Bingo “pushed Playtech out in front”. Both Net Entertainment and Microgaming scooped three awards, with NetEnt praised for its “robust delivery, strong mobile and a strong product IN THE BUSINESS OF WINNING portfolio” in being named Mobile Supplier of the Year and also winning the Innovation in Mobile award. Microgaming fought off stiff competition for the Poker Software of the Year award, but lost to Evolution Gaming in the live casino category. There were a number of ?rst-time winners this year, among them Jumio and Favourit. Fraud and Compliance Solution of the Year winner Jumio was said to have “brought something new and exciting” to the category, while Australian ?rm Favourit – winner of Innovation in Sports Betting – was recognised for its “innovative, unique approach”. The prestigious Rising Star awards went to Enteraction in the services category and Quickspin for software. Other winners include Sports Data Provider of the Year PERFORM, which was lauded for “getting it right in terms of external growth”, and double-winner Skrill, which was named Payments Company of the Year and Mobile Payments Solution of the Year.
