In November the site was redesigned to incorporate a more responsive design. From November onwards I have been, and still am, testing with pay-per-view web traffic. Up until November last year I had around 15,000 monthly visitors. In November and December 2012 alone I had 300,000 visitors. In total, 2012 generated 500,000 visitors. Revenue varies month-to-month but in total I earned a ?ve-?gure amount. This is a 300% increase on 2010 revenue. eGR: How much of this is to mobile-only operators such as mFortune or Probability? JJH: In 2012 mFortune registered 25,000 clicks and Probability 35,000. Revenue for mFortune was 20% of the total revenue while for Probability it was 25%. The rest is earned via a wide range of other programmes. Some was from incidental high-rollers and some programmes generate modest, but steady revenue. eGR: Please give our readers a deeper understanding as to how you and mobile speci?c affiliates work/what it takes to target mobile speci?c traffic? JJH: Targeting is quite straightforward. Find mobile ad networks (both search and PPC) and start testing. I have ongoing campaigns at ?ve networks which work best for me, but new networks pop-up on a regular basis and I run test campaigns on most of them. In my experience the return on investment varies massively between ad networks. Although I’m not familiar with promoting online casinos, over the years I have learned that mobile players are different to online players.
