FEATURE LIVE GAMING [ Per Eriksson, president and CEO, NetEnt THE LATEST ENTRANT Egaming Review (eGR): How is NetEnt differentiating its live products? Per Eriksson (PE): Our live roulette product has already shown to be one of the best on the market; the feedback from ICE has been phenomenal. It’s a beautiful game with the player in focus, making it easier to play. It’s important that players always have a good view of the action in the wheel and their bets. In order to supply this we use state of the art technology for streaming and on top of that we also offer the operators unique branding possibilities. eGR: What are operators demanding from live products? PE: They are looking for a number of games with enough seats to accommodate all players. Our live casino concept lowers the need for studio space, which allows us to better meet the demand for available seats. The operators also want to differentiate their offering towards their players, to be able to offer a unique experience and pro?le that does not look the same as with other operators. eGR: What is the impact of mobile going to have on live? PE: Live casino products on mobile have so far not been proven especially compared to the RNG mobile games. They have just begun. It might be too early to say anything about the impact right now; most of the products out there that offer live are only available on tablets, not mobile. We want to offer the best mobile gaming solution possible for the players, with top of the line quality in focus, and that requires time. eGR: What are NetEnt’s plans for live on mobile? PE: NetEnt Touch Mobile gaming is a very successful product. We’ve proven that we can create high quality mobile products for mobile and this is, of course, something that we’re very interested in carrying over to live as well. The ?rst priority is to offer additional games, like blackjack, on all our markets, before we make them available on mobile. ] Unibet is part of Evolution's 60% market share in Europe a land-based casino that the Gibraltar-licensed operator wanted.
