Lisa Cullen Selected as Distinguished Alum
BREVARD COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR
Lisa Cullen has a heart for Eastern Florida State College . Not only did she begin her educational pursuits at then Brevard Community College and credits her success to the strong foundation she gained at the college , but she has also continued to be a staunch supporter of the college and served as a member of the EFSC Foundation ’ s Board of Directors .
Nominators described Cullen as a “ loyal steward of taxpayer dollars , faithful to her Constitutional oath , and a beacon of trustworthiness in Brevard County .”
That ’ s why this dedicated public servant was selected as the 2022 EFSC Foundation ’ s Distinguished Alumni .
“ I have a deep love for EFSC ,” said Cullen . “ I am extremely honored to receive this award and such a wonderful celebration !”
A celebration it was ! Foundation staff , along with select board members and the entire Tax Collector ’ s Titusville Office staff joined forces to surprise her with the award .
“ Lisa exemplifies the very best of EFSC in her service to residents of the Space Coast and strong support of our students ,” said Cindy Kane , Executive Director of Development and Strategic Engagement for the EFSC Foundation . “ This award shines a bright light on her work and achievements , and we are honored to call her a great friend of the college .”
