Message from the EFSC President

THE EASTERN FLORIDA
State College Foundation is more important than ever .
The COVID-19 pandemic continues hurting students financially , and the Foundation has risen to the occasion by awarding 800 scholarships the past year .
The need remains great which is why I ’ m proud to introduce the Foundation ’ s new leaders in this first issue of our EFSConnections magazine .
They are Tonya Cherry and Cindy Kane .
Tonya serves as the Executive Director of Operations and Cindy as the Executive Director of Development and Strategic Engagement .
Tonya joined the Foundation in 2016 as the Donor Relations Coordinator . Prior to that , she served as an accountant at the Moletteire Injury Law Firm .
Cindy joined the Foundation in 2018 as the Coordinator of Development . She previously served as Senior Director of Human Resources for the Canaveral Port Authority and held positions with Harris Corporation .
I ’ m confident they will continue growing the Foundation and providing more student scholarships thanks to generous donations from people like you and the entire EFSC family .
I also hope you enjoy the new magazine that spotlights upcoming Foundation events and college news , such as not raising tuition for the 10th straight year .
The future of EFSC is very bright and so is the future of the Foundation as it works to open the door to a college education for many .
Thank you for your support . Go Titans !
