BROADWAY RETURNS to the King Center for the Performing Arts

WITH 2020 in the rearview mirror , life is returning to a new normal on the Space Coast . At your favorite performing arts venue , the King Center , that means a return to a fan favorite – Broadway !
The King Center has partnered with The American Theatre Guild ( ATGuild ) to present the Broadway At The King Center Inaugural Series beginning this December .
Some of the great shows planned include : BUDDY : The Buddy Holly Story , South Pacific , An Officer and A Gentleman and Waitress .
“ We ’ re offering special season ticket packages for our Broadway shows ,” said Bob Papke , Vice President of ASM Global Theaters and General Manager of The King Center .
“ Not only will our patrons be guaranteed great seats to the best of Broadway right here in Melbourne , but the perks are top notch . Season ticket holders will get advance access to purchase tickets to additional and future shows before they go on sale to the general public , and they can customize their Broadway Season show by swapping out of one season show into the season add-on RENT . Add to that , we ’ ve made paying for the season easy with special payment plans .”
Guests will also enjoy recently completed enhancements to the King Center . The modernization of the 33-year-old King Center was made possible by a generous donation from L3Harris as part of the Keeping the King Center Cool initiative . The project upgraded the exterior entrance at the King Center , the aging air conditioner , streamlining of the security procedures and interior design of the Crown Club and center lobby , named for its benefactor , L3Harris .
