First graduate from Dare
to Finish Program
Congratulati ons to Sarah Leon for earning her Associate’s Degree in
December 2017 through EFSC’s Dare to Finish program!
Sarah had one class left to complete her degree. With encouragement
from her husband, she made the decision to come back to EFSC and
fi nish her coursework. When asked what advice she had for students
in a similar situati on, she said, “I would say don’t let anything get in
your way. Get into the school, see an advisor and dare to fi nish!”
Did you know? Dare to Finish is designed to inspire
former Titans who are within 18 credits of completi ng an Associate
in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.) or Bachelor’s Degree and
are currently in an inacti ve status. Dare to Finish students may even
qualify for scholarships to help cover the cost of completi ng their
degree. Learn more at easternfl orida.edu/go/fi nish

can keep you informed of all the great things we have planned!
Here is what Career Source Brevard has to
say about job opportuniti es:
“More than one-third of all the aerospace
employees in the state of Florida are
employed in Brevard. The growth of
commercial space and the supply chain
that supports it is impressive. Giants
in the industry are electi ng to invest
here, including Blue Origin, OneWeb
Satellites and RUAG Aviati on; others have
determined to increase their presence
here, such as Lockheed Marti n, Northrup
Grumman, Embraer and others. Clusters
of constructi on acti vity at Explorati on
Park in the north, Orlando-Melbourne
Internati onal Airport and Port Canaveral
att est to the power of aviati on and
aerospace in Brevard County on Florida’s
Space Coast.”
