RECIPIENT/DONOR Reception
The 3rd Annual Scholarship Reception for the 2018-19 recipients and their donors was
held in March. The reception was hosted in the new Student Union. College President
Dr. Jim Richey spoke at the event. Mr. Sam Pak, CEO Appliance Direct, was recognized as
the 2019 Distinguished Alumni. Students were recognized for earning scholarships and
donors were recognized for their generosity and ability to change the trajectory of our
students’ lives.

In 2016, college graduates with
a Bachelor’s Degree had median
weekly earnings of $1,156 as compared
to $692 for those with only a high school
