OUR Vision Dear Foundation Supporters: There is no better way to describe a college education than to say generations of Americans have seen it as a pillar of the American Dream. Maximizing donor resources to build futures, transform lives, and promote academic excellence. OUR With it comes a path to good careers, solid citizenship and better lives. It also resonates in profound ways for the children of college graduates, and their grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well. Knowledge is among the most precious gifts we have in life, and passing on the value of gaining knowledge to those who come after us is precious as well. Mission That is why the work of the Eastern Florida State College Foundation is so important, and why your support for its efforts are central to its success. The scholarships the Foundation provides are critical in keeping a college education within reach for many students. In fact, some students receiving scholarships may not qualify for other financial aid. The Foundation’s role is among the reasons that Eastern Florida is one of the most affordable colleges in our state and nation. We are proud of that accomplishment and grateful for the part you play in making it happen. The EFSC Foundation cultivates donor and alumni relations to secure the resources required to support scholarships and initiatives to further the college mission. Thank you again for your support and the gift of opportunity you are giving to our students. Sincerely, DR. I am thrilled to report that we surpassed the goal, increasing scholarship awards 40%. Thank you to everyone who made it happen: donors, alumni, faculty, staff, corporations, businesses and other EFSC friends. Our vision is realized through your generous support. Lives are transformed, futures are hopeful and academic excellence prevails. The students who benefit from the scholarships leave the college with the expertise and ability to join our workforce, which strengthens our community and local economy. Scholarship recipient Carina Rodriguez said “If I had not received a scholarship, I would have not been able to continue my education.” Carina graduated with high honors and will pursue a degree in Biological and Medical Sciences at UCF with the dream of attending medical school. YOUR donation may be the difference between someone completing their education or dropping out of school. If you live in Brevard County, you have been touched by an EFSC graduate: a dental hygienist, nurse, computer or engineering technician, EMT, firefighter, police officer, cosmetologist, sonographer, HVAC technician and more. When you give to the EFSC Foundation, your support is making a lasting impact on our students and community. Thank you for helping Titans Rise!
