Scholarship RECIPIENT/DONOR Reception The Foundation’s success is the result of the strong support from members of our community like you who recognize the importance of our work, and who often serve on our workforce, Foundation, and advisory boards. Continuing to work together, we can assure that the college will help fulfill the dreams of students now and in the future. NEW FOUNDATION The 2nd Annual Scholarship Reception for the 2017-18 recipients and their donors was held in March and hosted by the Hilton Rialto. College President Dr. Jim Richey and donor Dr. Al Koller spoke at the event, encouraging students to meet their goals. Students were recognized for their achievements and the donors were thanked for their generosity and the transformational impact they are making on our students’ lives. Initiatives • Elimination of Dues for Alumni Association • Created Facebook Page for Alumni Association • Re-established Distinguished Alumni Award Program • Inaugural Student Ambassador Program Kyrstin Clodfelter, Elaika Ann Santos, and Jennifer Lee • Hosted first Golf Alumni Reunion Dr. Al Koller Number of graduates this year in ALL programs 4,316 • 46% of all of our students received some form of financial assistance. • 4,463 were first generation students to attend college, which is 22% of our student population. The Foundation awarded $175,300 to this group.
