EFSC Celebrates Student Success

Two of the happiest days in an academic year are Spring and Fall Commencement when faculty, staff, and college leadership pause to celebrate student success and mission accomplishment. The King Center for the Performing Arts becomes the epicenter of family celebrations each year, as graduates walk the Commencement stage.
Both ceremonies are livestreamed on the EFSC website. In Spring 2025, a total of 2,700 people viewed the 11 a. m. ceremony and 2,100 viewed the 2 p. m. ceremony – a record number of viewers and engagement!

They both plan to stay at EFSC and earn Bachelor of Applied Science( BAS) degrees, Frances in the Organizational Management track in hopes of one day directing a senior living facility and her daughter in the BAS Cybersecurity specialization with dreams of remote work and travel.“ I’ m ready to see the world and make some good money,” said Shipman.“ I’ m excited for the West Coast.
