Dear Trustees and Valued Community Partners, As we reflect on the past year, I am proud to share the 2025 Accomplishments Report— a testament to our college’ s unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and community impact. This report highlights the strides we’ ve made in advancing student success, deepening our partnerships across the region, and meeting Governor DeSantis’ challenge to strengthen workforce development on Florida’ s Space Coast. In 2025, we continued to build on our legacy of access and opportunity— from launching cutting-edge academic programs aligned with industry needs to expanding student services that empower our students to follow their dreams and achieve success. Our college remains a vital engine for economic growth as we strive to meet the rapidly expanding needs of the aerospace and high-tech industries in Brevard County. These achievements would not have been possible without your steadfast support and belief in the importance of our mission. Some examples include:
• The grand opening of our Center for Innovative Technology Education( CITE)
• The successful completion of our student-centered 2025 – 2030 Strategic Plan
• The significant expansion of our workforce initiatives to include our welding and HVAC programs
• The transition to a new accrediting body, Higher Learning Commission( HLC)
• The expansion of available Work-Study opportunities to benefit more students and better prepare them for the workplace upon graduation
Together, we are shaping a future where education fuels prosperity and where every student is given the critical tools they need to succeed and compete in a rapidly evolving world. Thank you for your continued partnership and advocacy. I invite you to explore the pages ahead and celebrate the remarkable progress we’ ve made— together. With gratitude,
Dr. Jim Richey President
