Career Services Gains Powerful Partner
Since opening in 2012, the EFSC Career Centers have supported more than 118,500 students in their career journeys.
In Fall 2025, EFSC expanded its services by partnering with CareerSource Brevard, Flagler, and Volusia, giving students access to a wider range of career support. Budget cuts had prompted CareerSource to consolidate. While this restructuring reduced the number of physical sites in Brevard, it also inspired innovative solutions to serve East Central Florida more effectively.
To meet the need, Talent Hubs were created, with the first opening at the EFSC Cocoa Campus( Building 3). This collaboration blends CareerSource’ s expertise in the regional job market with EFSC’ s academic programs and training resources, building clear pathways for students and job seekers to gain the skills employers demand. Together, EFSC and CareerSource are connecting education with opportunity— preparing individuals for high-demand careers while fueling economic growth across Brevard County.
“ This is a win-win for both of us,” said CareerSource Executive Director Marci Murphy.“ We wanted to go where our
customers are, and the college made that possible. We are extremely grateful for EFSC’ s support and look forward to helping ensure student success.”
