Enrollment Management and Transition Services Highlights
“ Reel ” Success : Enhancing Campus Connections Short videos known as reels were utilized on the College ’ s social media platforms to highlight academic and student support programs , encourage event attendance , and spotlight student and faculty achievements .
The number of people interacting with EFSC social content rose by 106.5 %,, with 10.25 % of social media viewers liking , commenting , or sharing an EFSC post compared to 4.96 % in 2023 .
The College ’ s “ Splash of the Titans ” blog was updated for mobile-device friendliness with articles generating 19,000 views in the first four months following the redesign .
On-Campus Television System Helps Spread News : A new TV monitor system was set up in May in high-traffic student areas on all four EFSC campuses with information to support healthy lifestyle choices for EFSC students and staff . More than 120 slides have been posted since the launch .
Registration
• Priority registration expanded to include additional student groups on their path to graduate , and a waitlist pilot program was rolled out for select math and science courses .
• Enhanced the transition process by creating planning templates for most popular transfer programs so students know what courses are needed to transfer to their bachelor ’ s degree programs .
• Academic Advisors worked to help build participation in the Honors Program .
Dual Enrollment
• Streamlined the dual enrollment registration process by implementing a student-led self-registration process , and providing every student with a term-by-term course plan .
• 417 high school dual enrollment students graduated with their AA , AS , BAS , CCC , or CTC in Spring of 2024 .
• Assisted 700 students without clear college or postsecondary plans by offering the Success Strategies course at their high school .
• Provided enrollment support , facilitated a campus visit , conducted career assessments , and offered additional guidance to help them develop post-graduation plans .
• “ Go Higher , Get Accepted ” brought the EFSC enrollment team on-site to 18 local schools and two campuses , to help over 1,100 Future Titans complete their admissions applications , fill out the online FAFSA , apply for Titan scholarships , and receive academic and career advising and orientations , bachelor ’ s degree webinars and expo , and more .
• Hosted over 80 on-campus enrollment events and activities including campus tours and campus visits for special interest groups , Titan Registration Ready workshops for first-time-in-college students , dual enrollment parent nights and orientations , bachelor ’ s degree webinars and expo , and more .
Testing
• Revised retesting guidelines to remove barriers for our students including reduced wait times , and increased access for TEAS from once per 12 months to up to three times per 12 months for on-campus testing .
• Increased availability of remote FCLE testing and conducted outreach to graduating students to remind them of the Civic Literacy graduation requirement .
