An innovative new College website design was launched that performs seamlessly on both mobile and desktop devices , with the primary focus on marketing EFSC to prospective students and retaining existing ones . The three-year project included extensive research , design reviews , technical implementation , and the writing , building and editing of more than 2,000 pages by the EFSC website team .
• A dynamic home page centers on exploring academic programs and EFSC campuses .
• An enhanced Academic Program Search Tool that includes all degrees and certificates , with integrated career information and direct links to program information landing pages
• All pages built based on the “ mobile-first ” design philosophy so content is easier to view on a mobile device , plus site navigation is enhanced now on smart phones
• Academic program pages provide details and how-to-apply information for every degree and certificate program , a major improvement
• Global Menu includes landing pages for Current Students , Faculty & Staff , Alumni & Donors , and Business & Community
• Content is specially designed to meet the needs of each of those groups plus extend the EFSC brand ’ s reach , such as continuing education and workforce training options
• Floating “ Call to Action ” buttons make it easier to Request Info , Apply , Register or Chat , increasing the rate of turning website visitors into future students
• A separate website was built for the EFSC Foundation as part of the project that better highlights giving options and the Alumni Association
• A significantly improved and now mobilefriendly Academic Calendar
• Items such as the Class Schedule Search , Job Opportunities , and Employee Directory that feed onto the website from systems run by the EFSC IT Department were all upgraded to be mobile-friendly
• Coordinated design changes to the EFSC Titans athletics website and the EFSC Course Catalog were also made so the look and feel of all three of the College ’ s major online platforms is consistent
• Post-launch feedback from students , faculty and staff is being used as the new site continues to evolve to best support each student ’ s successful educational journey
