• Gained approval ahead of schedule from the State Board of Education and Southern Association of
Colleges and Schools to begin four-year degree programs. (Student Enrollment, Trustee Relations)
• Created four-part strategic plan to achieve these key College goals: Improving student academic
performance, making students ready for the job market, improving students’ collegiate experience, and
improving the College’s financial position. (Student Enrollment)
• Successfully hosted former President Bill Clinton for an outdoor rally on the Palm Bay Campus during
a campaign stop on his behalf for President Obama prior to the Nov. 6 election. (Public Awareness,

• Selected Eastern Florida State College as BCC’s new name in a decision that has received wide

• Added $1.8 million in net assets to the BCC Foundation after expenses and the distribution of
scholarships. (Fundraising)
• Since becoming president, BCC Foundation has seen a 12.5 percent return on investments, with total
assets climbing from $14.6 million to $16.4 million. (Fundraising)
• Found major new donor for BCC Foundation. (Fundraising)
