• Announced five more new academic programs – three Bachelor Degrees and two Associate Degrees –
in Business, Health Care and Computer Information Technologies to support the rapid growth of Port
Canaveral, Melbourne International Airport and high-tech fields; Bachelor programs scheduled to start
in 2016, anticipating end of moratorium on new BAS degrees at state colleges. (Student Enrollment,

• Created first Naming Rights policy for college buildings to create a new revenue stream that can be used

• Met all federal requirements for the Clery Act and the Violence against Women Reauthorization Act
of 2013, including a comprehensive annual security report with crime statistics made available to all
students, faculty and staff. (Employee Relations, Public Awareness)

eceived perfect audit for the EFSC Foundation from an independent auditor, showing full compliance
with all required regulations and procedures. (Financial Management)
• Launched successful EFSC Foundation “Lend a Hand Employee Giving Campaign” to help students
pay for textbooks and tuition, raising $13,000. (Financial Management, Student Enrollment, Diversity

• Received perfect audit for the King Center for the Performing Arts from independent auditor Carr,
Riggs and Ingram, showing full compliance with all required regulations and procedures. (Financial

• Conducted college-wide focus groups with students that found strong support for the college’s
direction, plans to build on-campus student housing, and a budding sense of a total collegiate
experience. (Student Enrollment)
• Conducted survey of Brevard business leaders that found strong support for the college’s direction,
including new academic programs and efforts to create more business partnerships. (Community

• Achieved 46.4 percent graduation rate at EFSC, ranking 4th among all 28 colleges in the Florida College
System and 2nd among all FCS colleges with enrollments greater than 10,000 students providing further
