Shifani Reffai is a 23-year-old undergrad from Sri Lanka, who has a penchant for sticking her fingers in a lot of
pies: architecture, photography, journalism, illustration, literature, film,
and lately, playing the tabla. Clearly
this is because she has the attention
span of a goldfish. The love of her life
is however, writing. She is inspired
by travel and everyday incidents and
finds it a bit disgusting to write about
herself in the third person.

Yes, on an ordinary day you see your reflection in a puddle, but if you look closely, too
closely, for too long, you may see things that
happened long before you, at the very spot
on which you stand.
