Ranking:
Honestly rank each of the statements in each area of competence, on a scale of 1 to 10.
1 = Doesn’t exist / Not managed at all
10 = Absolutely in place / Consistently and effectively managed
Add up the rankings to get a total score for each area of competence.
Summary:
Calculate the percentage of each competence area as follows:
Total ranking given / Total possible ranking * 100
Example:
Area of Competence - Leadership
Total ranking given = 20 (ranking of 5 per statement)
Total possible ranking = 40
Effectiveness percentage = 50%
Plot Results:
Draw a line in the respective area on the wheel to create a radar chart that shows the current level of confidence.
Analyse:
Look at the completed chart. Follow the instructions on Page 17 to discuss, develop, and implement an action plan for continuous improvement.
