The night was lit with the glow of colors of fire, expressed with tribal music and topped with traditional
African food. The night they called “This time for Africa”
An exhilarating night that spiced up the whole event of SWE 18’ was the African Themed dinner put
together by the dedicated team under the exceptional leadership of Mariah Azhar.
The most creative entrance boasting a rotating time machine was already promising a lot more than just
a dinner inside. Massive skulls hanging down the walkways, and the tribes of Hausa spitting fire,
protecting the existence of a rich culture, it all became talk of the town. The iconic display of vast lands of
Africa with a tree and elephant, the canopies of the jungle hut, and the dripping and appetizing aroma of
live kitchen which ornamented the African oasis will always be harked back to.
After relishing the fire show on the magical beats of CONGO music, the tribes sat down and enjoyed the
feast while capturing selfies with traditional African jewelry in the Maasai tribe photo booth.
