For the eighth time, LC Novi Sad organised
yet another successful job fair - KONTEH14
that took place on 3rd and 4th of April this
year.
KONTEH, fair of business opportunities and
professional practice, represents a great opportunity for students and people with faculty degree looking for a job. Our main goal is
to connect students with representatives of
local, as well as, foreign companies that are
looking for new employees or are willing to offer professional practice in their company to
students.
This year, British company Devtech was our
general sponsor. Among other companies
that participated were Microsoft Development
Center Serbia, Levi9, Hinttech, VegaIT Sourcing, Execom, M&I Systems and others. These
companies were able to communicate with
young and ambitious people and also give
presentations of their companies.
KONTEH14 is supported by the Faculty of
technical sciences, where it took place, the
City of Novi Sad and also the National employment service. The National employment
service is the host of workshops that visitors
of our fair can attend every year.
The purpose of these workshops is to teach
you how to act in an interview and how to advance in your career. This year’s workshops
were “Career Development in the 21st Century” and “Verbal and nonverbal communication”.
We had many visitors and received great
feedback from them and also from companies, which tells us that all the hard work
has paid off. But don't worry, after hard work
come a reward! We had a party for all people
that helped making this possible!

LC Athens – Greece

Job Fair Athens is, during the past 3 years,
the biggest students’ initiative in Greece in the
field of the job market, hitting the problem of
youth unemployment in the core. Up till now,
63 of the largest companies in Greece have
participated, and more than 4.600 students
and graduates from polytechnic, technological and economic university departments
have visited Job Fair Athens. Our power and
key to our success lies in our volunteers, and
this is why we place considerable emphasis
on their complete and meticulous training during the preparation of the event. This year our
event will be held during the 14th & 15th of
May 2014.
This being the 4th year in which Job Fair Athens is organised, we are constantly struggling
for improvement and innovation. We are creating our new Human Resources department.
We define our culture, so that our values, according to which we function, become comprehensible. We aim at our visitors to gain
the most positive and optimistic experience
possible. So this is why we organise Job Fair
Athens for a 4th consecutive year!
Within the Job Fair Athens 2014 framework,
presentations and seminars will be conducted towards the end of April, in order to inform
and guide those that are interested in terms of
the subject of the event such as CV trainings
and Interview Skills training from HR representatives.
This year we took the initiative to write down
our principles which in total combine the EESTEC spirit within Job Fair Athens.
Some of which are these:
• We encourage and protect the initiative.
• We can be serious without wearing a tie.
• We feel responsible for the impact of
our action in society.
