Summer goes by and when you stop
for a moment you realize that a third of
our mandate passed already.
Since my election, many have asked
me why I chose to candidate for the
Treasurer position and I answered
with various reasons. As it is the case
for many decisions you make, afterwards you either have no clue
why you did it because the way of
doing just felt good, or you have
many different reasons.

For my case the second statement
meets my decision to candidate and
although there are many reasons,
I strongly believe it all comes down
to one fact: The more you invest the
more you can learn.
I learned this in several projects, I had
been lucky to be part of. You can participate in a lot of projects and teams
but as long as you are just a member,
go to regular meetings and answer
the mails from your team, you can
only achieve very little or in most cases nothing at all.
On the other hand if you step up,
take responsibility and move things
forward, even if third parties have a
reason to see the project as a failure
in the end, for you it will never be like
that. You learned so much on the path
to ?nish the project and you can use
that experience for your next projects.
But therefore you have to be willing to
face the challenge and to accept the
possibility of failure.
So there is the question left: Are you
ready to get the most out of EESTEC
for you?
Join us for the second half of our
mandate.
