MEET THE WINNERS
On Teachers' Day 2019 the Ministry of Science and Education awarded for the first time the
best education workers in Croatia. A lot of them all around Croatia applied for the competition
and only 510 were awarded. Three of our school’s employees were among the awarded ones.
We proudly present you our winners in the following interview. Congratulations!

1 How does it feel to be chosen among the best educational employees in Croatia?
2 How did you make the election?
3 Did you expect to make it to the top 500?
4 Which last year’s successes did you name in your application?
5 What differentiates you from other professors?
6 After graduating from university, did you expect this kind of success?
7 Can you give some advice to your less experienced colleagues?
1 I was very surprised and happy, and at the same time curious
how the ceremony will go.
3 I didn’t expect it at all so it was a very nice surprise.
4 In the application I stated what we did together as a class
(movies that were awarded as part of the film group, projects
in which students showed their creativity and willingness...).
5 I don’t think there is something that differentiates me from
other professors because we are all doing a great job so each
one of us could be rewarded for their work and effort.
6 After I got my degree I was focused on finding a job in a school
and I couldn’t even imagine something like this.
7 One piece of advice I can give is never lose the enthusiasm that
all teachers have. The rest will come.
