Edward Annets, more commonly known as WarriorTherad, is an up and coming let's play gamer on YouTube. At only 18 years old, he has already reached over 200 thousand subscribers on YouTube, 1500 "Likes" on Facebook and over 1000 "Followers" on Twitter. Although these figures don't stand out as much as other gamers such as CaptainSparklez and SkyDoesMinecraft, some deem WarriorTherad as "The next generation of YouTube gamers". On the topic he states: "I was originally shocked about how popular I was in the last few months, even though I have more or less just started. Being called 'The next gen' is something that I wasn't too sure on, as I haven't had much of an impact on the gaming society yet." His channel content features a small variety of games, including Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Terraria and Portal 2, however his main channel content are a range of different Minecraft let's play series, where he plays through the game of minecraft, teaching his audience the basics of the game.
"I originally started with minecraft as it was and is, a popular game on youtube. Subscribers love to watch it, so I thought, why don't I give it a go. I had the time and the know how, so i just went ahead with it."
