from the editor
The first edition for the year always gives us the
most fun!
We brainstorm the articles of the upcomming year
and create a vision of what we want to bring you
and the information that you would like to read.
This year kicked off with a bang and I can’t
believe the first edition is online and available for
your enjoyment.
As NAMPA statistics show that 80% of pre-primary
and lower primary teachers do not have the
nessasary qualifications, we decided to pop in at
some of the local pre-primary schools and have
their teachers set up lessons. The first lesson is an
introduction to Maths. We have also included the
syllabus for pre-primary Maths.
Furthermore we look at the increasing problem of
children’s eating disorders. Some are overweight
and others suffer from anorexia. We also take a
look at the Paleo diet and discuss whether your
children should be on it.
We hope you will enjoy this edition!
