Birth order!
I just loved the layout of the last
magazine. You guys are doing
something right.
I loved the article Does birth order
matter. It opened my eyes quite a bit
to the way I look at my three children.
It also gave me some perspective
on their behaviour and how I should
handle it. Thank you for always
publishing something new that we as
parents never knew and guiding us
towards raising better children.

Change
At the beginning of December with
the approaching Christmas season
one cannot help thinking back to one’s
childhood and to the days when one’s
own children were still small. All these
thoughts roll past you like a film,

leaving you with a feeling of nostalgia
at times and sometimes with a warm
feeling and a smile on the face.
When our family come together
after a long absence it is our habit to
exchange all our Do you remember?
stories. Do you remember the
holiday at Henties when we all
received remote cars for Christmas?
Do you remember the Christmas
when we had that delicious leg
of lamb on the dinner table? Do
you remember when we travelled
from Hartenbosch to Grandma and
Grandpa in Johannesburg because
Mom was so sad for being without
them at Christmas? And the Carols
by Candlelight at Hartenbosch where
hundreds of people gathered to sing
Christmas carols that echoed far over
the ocean.
These memories have always been the
glue of our family.
