• Early Education Degree (PreK-4)
If you dream of helping young children develop their social, language and reasoning
skills, a degree in early education is the right path for you. Our Early Education
teacher certification program focuses on early childhood development and includes a
path to PreK-4 Teacher Certification. *
• Early Education and Special Education Degree
Today’s classrooms require teachers who can meet the needs of all their students,
including those with special education needs. By completing a dual major in Early
Education (PreK-4) and Special Education (PreK-12), you can earn your PreK-12
Special Education certification in addition to your Early Education PreK-4 teacher
certification – in just four years! *
• Education Studies Degree
If you dream of being a teacher who makes a real and lasting difference in the lives
of today’s students, the bachelor’s degree in Education Studies degree at Gwynedd
Mercy University is a perfect
choice. Here, you will
have access to the finest
teachers and resources as
you develop your teaching
and classroom management
skills. This program provides
preparation in Education
without teacher certification.
*Education students who have a minimum
3.0 GPA after 48 credits and pass a Basic
Skills Assessment Test as required by the
Pennsylvania Department of Education may
apply to be formally admitted to a teacher
certification program.
