When the sun goes down, the Zoo becomes
a very different place. Children ages 5-12 are
invited to embark on a “flashlight safari” and
observe the animals’ nocturnal behavior.
Older participants may choose to extend their
adventure by spending the night in one of our
themed classrooms.
During the school year, these programs are
available monthly to the general public and
on demand for scouting groups (who receive
a badge for their involvement).
